As I have discussed with many of you, our goal is to enable our students to independently manage their time of 45 minutes of work at home. While the completion of school work is expected, students are also responsible for taking the initiative to improve their own life skills. Try some of these suggestions when you have the time:
- Review your French and math concepts for 10 extra minutes on days where you do not have homework.
- Read aloud to your parents, your dog or even to the empty room. Place extra care to fully emphasize all punctuation and be expressive in your tone. - Remember to read books at grade level or above and try different genres. Click on "Links" to help you find your appropriate grade level books. |
